One of my favorite comfort food Good day to all, its been a while since I wrote an article here in read.cash 😄. Coz as what I have said last time I was hooked by watching kdrama. And I just make singit lang writing article and watching kdrama when my baby is sleeping. Since today is my husbands restday I was able to have time doing an article by sharing you what happened today. I thought that it would be a rainy day today coz of the typhoon that's why I ask my husband if we can make rice porridge or congee with beef fat. Because I have been craving for it and it is one of my favorite comfort food. I do not know whats with congee but I can eat it everyday (yung masarap na luto ah). But not in everymeal for the day ha lol. Just only once a day😁. I remember when I was a kid there is a lugawan that we used to eat together with my brothers coz their congee is really good and we paired it with tokneneng and their vinegar dip sauce is also good. And when I grow older congee become my comfort food especially if it has lechon kawali or paired it with tokwat baboy na lechon kawali. Early in the morning while our baby is still sleeping, I went to the wet market to buy all the ingredients for the congee. I supposed to buy only 1/4 of beef and will ask for the fats since it is just free if you buy beef, but I feel shy so I make it 1/2 kilo lol. When I got home I prepared all the ingredients and asked my husband if he want to do the cooking and he accepted it. So he is the one who cooked and I am the one who take good care of our baby. Aroung 9 am he was done cooking . And infairness it taste good . The taste that I am looking for everytime that I will buy congee to well known lugawan. It satisfies all my cravings for today. Actually I eat it also during lunch, I just bought vegetable spring rolls to pair it. Sometimes simple things makes us happy. All we have to do is appreciate it and be thankful. Thats all for today😊
