New Drawing: Lain Iwakura (Serial Experiment's Lain) Serial Experiment's Lain is a psychological horror anime that appeared in the late nineties. This series stars a young high school student named Lain Iwakura, who, upon learning of the death of one of her classmates after throwing herself from the top of a building, immediately spreads the rumor that every student at the Institute receives a message by email that the girl did not die but lived in the world of the network (called nexus, equivalent to what the Internet is for us), decides to investigate further about the matter upon arriving at her home and connecting to the virtual world. Now, after this explanation about who is the character that I have chosen to create this drawing I will show the step by step for its elaboration. So without further ado let's get started. 1- the drawing was already done previously, so I made a duplicate to be able to correct some details it has.

2- then, with a black ink pen, mark all the lines and then remove the graphite with a white school eraser.

3- next, I started painting what has been the bear pajamas that covers Lain with different shades of brown, ranging from the lightest to the darkest: tan, light brown, brown, mahogany.

As for the face: apply peach in the lightest areas, and a combination of peach with brown in the areas where the shadows are cast.

The hair has been black. And the eyes, on its edges it has brown, and in the central part, light brown with yellow; gray to give shadows in the eyes; and the white spaces is to denote brightness.
