Reviewing an RCA Walkman

Taking advantage of the fact that I have the AA batteries that I bought just a few days ago, I decided to continue with the practice of reviewing the Walkman that I have stored at home. This time, it was the turn of a Walkman from the RCA company. This device that was loaned to me by a relative is in good physical condition but not functional.

When I opened it and removed the case I noticed the amount of dust inside, both on the case and on the plate, so I cleaned both things with a brush.

The next thing I did was to insert the batteries to know that it was working, detect that the radio works normally but not the cassette, so, applying the suggestions of the youtube and tiktok videos, I removed the link to place it in its same place; from that moment if the cassette was played normally. But, what if I have to say is that the audio quality between the sound of the radio and the cassette player differ a lot, I guess it's because the radio is digital sound but not the cassette player, or maybe also that the headphones I was using were not of good quality 😕
