Performing maintenance on a ZipZaps

For those who have no idea what this little toy is about, well, it is nothing more than a remote-controlled trolley, designed for adults; and they are designed for this audience because they are collectible. And so that the person who owns it can change certain characteristics of it; such as, for example, the housing of the vehicle.

These come in different models and colors. They work with AAA battery in the remote control, and a very small battery inserted inside the vehicle (rechargeable). Now, I say all this because I also have one, the same one that you can see in the picture, and that recently after 20 years (approximately) of having acquired it thanks to the gesture of a relative who gave it to me, I decided to do a little cleaning to use it again.

When I removed the casing from the car and other internal devices, I got the microbattery in poor condition, it had a dirty appearance and wrapped in a substance that comes from the innermost part of it. After cleaning it with cotton wool and isopropyl alcohol, and put everything back in its place, try to make the toy work but without any positive result. Apparently, the battery was damaged and requires replacing it with another one, something that must be purchased online since it is not easy to get in physical stores.
