I've been inspired to post this when I read one noisemates post today about wood burning for warmth in a fireplace or camping. I can relate to his feelings while watching wood burning when my siblings, nephews and I, watched this huge driftwood (which my father used to plant his orchids and eventually taken over by my sister when he passed away) engulfed in flames. It took a while. We watched it like it was an interesting film/movie. We burnt it not for warmth though, but because we believe that it's being attacked by termites and while it was burning I had that feeling of letting go with little feeling of loss because termites are dreadful. It was a beautiful driftwood if not for the termites it will be nice to keep. The cats like it, too. But unfortunately, it has to go. Bye, bye giant driftwood... All that is left now are coals still hanging around the backyard. Oh well... Have a good day/good evening... ... fellow noisemates🌷☘🌷🍀🌷 #thoughts #myphoto #Photography

Bye bye termites too haha. The cat loves that driftwood I guess.
Bye bye termites indeed. Yes they did love the driftwood but unfortunately it has to go with the termites. A spray is not enough to get rid of the termites...this is the best way.
Cute cat, nice picture, everything.someday will go
It's a sad reality.
