I'm sure you have heard or maybe you have heard of this famous phrase or proverb or quote by John Donne, "No Man Is An Island."🤔 I kind of believe this quote but my friend kept on saying that she believes and thinks that I am an island. She was telling our friends that Marla is an island. She's an only child but she feels like she can't live by herself. I came from a big family but she sees me as so self-sufficient, so independent, so composed and she thinks I will be alright wherever I go by myself. Because I go shopping by myself, eat by myself, go anywhere by myself and I am happy with just myself as company. And she said she can't do these things by herself. Just the thought of being alone makes her really feel bad. I see this as quite odd. She's supposed to be used to by herself as she's an only child. But then of course, each individual is unique...I do not know how's the life of an only child. Or maybe all she needs is to think positively that she will be alright... Great pictures, this proverbe I heard it for thé first Time. I think to bé a lone a lone for a long time its hard, but we can't feel thé loneless because as you said you have a Big family , I swear they don't let you alone for a long Time, thé only reason why you don't feel alone.
That is true. Family will always be family. My friend is longing for company and I was like enjoying my me time😅
Yes, I agree and I do not see that the man is better and stronger than the woman. Many women do things that some men may not be able to do.
Ah i see.. For some people is hard to do that.. But when they get used to be alone in everything, they will not feel the same🙈
True, at first it will be difficult but if you get used to being alone it will be easier, the next thing you knew it you are already enjoying it, being alone. That was the case on my part.
Hihi same sis.. I feel it too.. When i get used to have many friend nd keep do socialisation, its hard to be alone.. But when i feel tired, nd think that i must try to isolate myself from crowded like that (but its not because of covid😂😂😂) yeahh now i really enjoying it.. Nd its hard to get out from it now😂
