Bearded Reedling (Wąsatka), a beautiful bird in extinction This bird is hard to confuse with another species. The male looks very dignified with his big mustache. Fortunately, the female does not have a mustache. In addition to the characteristic mustache, it also has a long black tail and a gray-blue cap on its head. The male and female are very similar to each other, they are light brown in color, with a black and white pattern on the wings. Bearded Reedling like areas with a lot of reeds, rushes, on the shores of lakes, ponds, rather away from human presence.
