Yesterday's October sunset in my neighborhood - always beautiful The closer to late autumn, the sun gets lower on the horizon, the more majestic the sunsets. I often go to a nearby pond and sit for a good hour just before sunset, waiting for the desired effect. It doesn't always work out, the weather can play tricks on you, but when you get the right weather, you can observe the wonderful play of colors on the horizon. The sunset begins with a color close to purple, but lower above the horizon it changes to orange and almost red. And when it's warm enough, the pleasure is double. Sometimes a beautiful phenomenon will be crossed by a bird or plane flying low, which adds color to the situation.
