These plants are not afraid of frost - Rhododendron Goldfimmer Walking in winter along the park alleys, I never paid attention to the plants that are resistant to cold. One of such plants is "Rhododendron" or Rhododendron Goldfimmer. There are not too many of these plants in the Silesian Park, perhaps that's why I didn't notice them before. I watched them a week ago during severe frosts, and today, when the temperature exceeded plus 10 degrees. They practically do not change their appearance. The leaves are still firm, without any signs of frostbite, and the pink buds are just waiting for the right moment to develop. This variety has unique green glossy leaves with numerous yellow discolorations. It is very pretty even in winter, when it doesn't have beautiful flowers, only buds. The flowers, on the other hand, appear in early spring and have a beautiful light purple color.
