It’s time to decommission the old beast. It’s an early 2011 MacBook Pro that’s had a tough life. Little Wookie spilled water on the keyboard when he was much younger. This killed the keyboard and prevented the power switch from working. To turn it on I had to remove the bottom cover, disconnect the battery then plug-in the power. I could then reconnect the battery. Speaking of which, that’s pretty much well past its use by date. Not charging properly now. I won’t even mention the fact it can’t even upgrade to the latest version of macOS. It’s sad but it’s time.
