I wish yo share to you my sunset while we were at the memorial a few minutes ago now. It has been a habit of ours to visit my father in law's grave during Sundays when we are not busy. This is the time where my brother in law and us (me, hubby, my mother in law and my son) do our bonding time since the cemetery is just near our home. My brother in law works in Manila and he goes home during weekends so it's been a habit already then after we eat out together as a family before he will travel back again to Manila.
How about you when was the last time you visited your dead ancestors or family in the cemetery?

Strawberry Fields Forever 🍓🍓🍓

We went to La Trinidad yesterday and visited the strawberry fields. We saw rows and rows of plastic covered green houses planted with strawberries and some lettuce's. We didn't see any strawberry fruit because November is the harvest season so they are still growing.
We ended up buying strawberry jams and a bit of lettuce.😊
It was a cool and cold experience.😉😍

The "Rape" Jeans😄🙃☺️
Earlier this afternoon My mother-in-law and I went malling because we were looking for shirts for a gift. We went inside a store and when we passed by the pants section she saw the ripped jeans which is called rape jeans now because of its tattered, battered look. She can't believe it that these ripped pants costs far more than the normal no rip pants.
She just can't get enough of it that she had to see how they tried to make the pants all so worn out, she wanted to sew the pants!😄😄
She said, look at what people are doing now to clothes just to make it In Fashion.🤨🤨
Her 72 year old mind cannot fathom and process it. The old meets the new! ☺️😁

Foggy Day
Aloha everyone!
My son sent me now this photo of the thick fog on the streets of Baguio. The fog is so thick that it's almost zero visibility on the main city roads.
The first photo (left) was taken 11am today on the street going to his school. The second photo (right) was taken 2pm on his Dorm building.
Til now as I am typing this post I can hear the heavy rain pouring from outside his room. He was suppose to travel today so he can pay us a visit but because of the bad weather we decided not to let him travel.
Hope this typhoon will soon be out if our country, I miss the sun!

I am on massage mode now, hubby got tired of doing the clearing at our Hill top, lots of tall shrubberies again. When it rains they grow! haha.

It's clearing and Grass Cutting Time
atm: we visited our patch of land that we acquired last 2016. It's full of shrubberies so we are now doing some clearing around the property, while the boys including hubby are clearing outside I am busy cleaning the inside of the house..... We seldom come here only when we are not busy with our work.
See those thick trees (3rd photo), they are home to lots of fire flies, at night this place becomes magical!

It's a but gloomy and windy day here at our city now. The whole half day I was so busy looking for technical pens and mechanical pencils for my son because in the city where he is now they are all out of stock!
Exhausted!, haha. I can't believe I got tired of looking for .3, .5, .7, .8 pens blue red and black!😄😉bought also a T square, scientific calculator ! woa! talk about engineering needs! haha.

Today is my son's birthday 🎂 and since he left for the University he is now celebrating his 🎂 all by himself 😰😭 As a mom I really wanted to be there which made me sad 🥺and I cried 😭 really because this is the first time he is away from us. This is the dreaded kind of feeling a mother mot👩👦and parents

I know this is just the beginning we are still in the period of adjusting not seeing him and not beeing with him all day everyday but I know for his dreams of the future we all need to make sacrifices.
I am truly grateful that we have video calls now, the internet really made the world small.

I saw this unique flower when I was out in the forest weeks ago. I was really wondering what this is because it's my first time seeing this kind of flower. So I waited for more of this to fall just to see where it came from and as they say patience is a virtue so I did find the source and it's from the top of a big tree. The end of the flower is the seed.

Leaving on a jet plane
My niece will be leaving for Dubai UAE tomorrow.. She's 10 yo and this will be her first flight alone. She will go to school there with her mom. Praying all will be well and that she will arrive in Dubai safe.
We are now in Bataan having our dinner, an hour drive for her send off party.

I wish to share to you , last night since the weather wasn't favorable it was gloomy and rainy, I asked my Boss/Hubby to dye my hair since I have a lot of gray hair showing☺️
I am not old yet guys ha, mind you... haha I guess it goes with the times my hair just wants to be "In Fashion" . I don't know but a lot of women and also men now are having grey hair even in their early teens and twenty''s.... hmmmmm, I wonder 🤔🤔 why is it because of the products we use, the food we eat, our genes, or maybe our environment now..... I just don't know!
Anyways, I am so happy and grateful that my Boss - Hubby happily obliged to dye my hair.... haha. That's the secret guys to having a lasting relationship, 26 yrs now. How he takes care of me when we were still bf's and
gf's is far more than now. He exceeds all my expectations. I am just so grateful to God. Thank you thank you thank you.

The rain started last night and it's just what we wanted to cool down the heat, made me happy so I was able to save electricity , AC's Off please 😀😀. well, you know I am a practical mom save whatever and however way we can.
Anyways, Just want to share to you my adorable and sweet feathery Angel Bird, Keeth, who loves to give kisses in the mornings, who always greets me a "Hello" everytime I open our back door to our functional kitchen where his cage is.
After the sweet kisses it's followed with his long playing singing😀😀

Good morning everyone 🤗
While waiting for hubby to fetch me from the market. I was just waiting beside a patch of a small plant box in front of the Post Office, suddenly a beautiful butterfly flew by me and went directly to the flowers just beside me. I was really happy because when you're in the city it's rare to see butterflies.
The butterfly was having the time of its life hopping from one flower to another, a periwinkle flower. Of course I need to document this rare happy moment. Snap, snap, took me quite a while before I could have a clear photo, this bugger is so excited that it can't stay on one flower long enough for me to take a photo. Glad that for 8seconds it stood still.☺️☺️☺️ and here is the outcome.
We are truly abundant in everything, remember the material abundance are just tools for us to experience a good life but the intangible abundance are truly what matters most because it is a part of our life and we can't live without them.
So, even if you are so busy with your life everyday try to be grateful for all the intangible abundance and blessings you receive and experience each day.
Have a gratitude attitude as I always say.

The Road Less Traveled
I am driving here all alone on this less traveled road. So many shrubberies, tree branches hanging by the roadside there are spots that I was shouting out of fear thinking the shrubberies might prevent me from passing the road. Then I drove into a roller coaster up and down thick muddy parts of the road that has deep mud holes just to make it fun I thought of it like a mixture of chocolate moist cake.... hahaha.... 😄 I always look at the positive of everything instead of the negative and murmurings. Well, for me life is fun and I know that what we think about we bring about so I just enjoyed the ride even if I was a bit scared already🥶😨
While I was all alone trudging through I just said my prayer and I felt a sense of calm and peace inside me. My fears dissipated but was replaced with joy because there were lots of birds, butterflies and other insects which flew away everytime I hit the tall grasses. I felt one with nature.😇😍
In life we have lots of hurdles, struggles, trials, problems, tests but if we call on the source of all who created everything all will be well.
No worries I got out safe and I did not get stuck because I know God was and will always be with me.

The Beautiful Sound of Silence
Everytime me and hubby would go for walks or hikes in the forest we never talk we just stay quiet enjoying nature's own beautiful sound. It's a therapy for the soul just listening to their own melody that is as old as the earth itself. We just enjoy how nature create their own sound, the sound of silence that many people nowadays just take for granted because of living a fast paced life, always running after many things. Please, Slow Down and Quiet Down!
Many forget that life's simple joys and pleasures are those that cannot be bought.
So always take time to stop and smell the roses for in them immeasurable happiness lies.

It's been a while since my last post but just so you know I am okay and doing very well, I just got caught up with so many things that I was not able to make updates here.
Anyways, How are you all doing? How's life treating you, I hope all good and well.
I just wish to share to you what our team caught during one of our emergency works.
A beautiful big snake was caught on one of the huge water pumps. The pump got a problem so they asked us to check on it and lo and behold when hubby lifted the pump, this poor thing or what's left of its body was found dangling. I was really sad because you seldom see snakes like this nowadays and they help a lot in the maintaining the balance of a healthy eco system because they eat menace pests like rats.
You see how beautiful its skin color is, pretty right!
Hubby said maybe it just fell in the pump area while hunting some rats.
Well, that's life. I just hope this is not the last of his kind🥺
Anyways, Miss you all guys and wish everyone a beautiful Monday. Monsoon months are already here so make sure to always bring your umbrella's with you.

Goooood morning wonderful people🤗
We did a night operation today, well It's not really night because we started 12 midnight and up til the now we are still here on site.
We are going to put up a partition wall inside the wet well area of the treatment plant to prevent solid materials going into the pump motors which usually clogs up the pumps.
We scheduled the work during midnights while the people are still asleep and will not use that much water.
I can see the skies slowly brighten but the sun isn't visible yet. Just gave our team some snacks, hot cup noodles and bread .
Hope we will be able to finish this today so we will be off to our another next project which is already on hold.

I've been busy with many things these past few days, it's a very good and great kind of busy so I am happy. Service really, doing work as an act of service makes you really so fulfilled and accomplished.
Our goal is to give our best in everything that we do to make our clients happy so work just keeps on flowing, keep on coming continuously the money or the pay that comes with it is just second because when you think you served you feel so satisfied that you have fulfilled your highest and truest potential as a human being rather than thinking of what you get out of it first, service must come first and it is imperative that it comes from the heart.
This is what makes us wake up in the morning everyday. The chance and the ability to serve.
Well, just sharing to you my personal experiences. So work to serve and love what you are doing. The outcome will be seen and so you will be replicated. Creating ripples of service from the heart. Then inturn creating a harmonious society then community then the whole nation then the world.
See how big an impact our small good actions come to be. Funny but these days and week passed I always see butterflies everywhere I go... haha, it seems they are following me maybe they sensed my happiness☺️🥰

Happy July first! We just had our presidential inauguration yesterday and It felt like happiness overflowing, new great beginnings for us Filipinos.
