I remembered last year my ancestors home where I grew up was struck with massive flood.... took me 4 days to finish it. This year, my brother has the same fate as we all gathered and prayed for the rain to stop ASAP for 48 hours. The bad of this incident : damages that round to hundreds and possible thousands. The good despite the incident: no one family member perished from the first major flood ever in that district. The moral of this incident. Nothing lasts forever, especially items. You can't hoard everything that is material. Family safety is more important. ( I heard someone from Shah Alam area - wealthy chap, lost 7 of his luxurious cars to the flood. 2 Porche and the rest are I think are Benz. None of the car had an upper exhaust, and all the cars were soaked almost to the brim - 4 feet, and probably major repairs and cleaning needed)
