It doesn't matter how you started your journey, but how you end it. Even a person who has done so much bad in life, through broken marriages, dementia, wrong doing, through prison and out, the most important is the journey when the candle is almost all burnt out. And even when that seems dark and lost, and scary, and weak, with cancer already spread all over, sucking the very life away. Breathing becomes difficult. Jesus will never turn away when called. And after reconcile with Him, even for another 24 hours, all hurt and pain seems far away, and seems dimed, and rest can be found in the One Who truly loves and accepts you. This is my uncle. Who finally knows He is waiting, he called Him, and He called my uncle His. Just an hour ago it happened, and his countenance changed. Peace came to his face, as he is now fading off, getting ready for his eternal home. Only God can turn a man through a life of pain, hurt and scars around and give him peace. #BornAgainChristian
