Our Vow to God...

"When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. Therefore stand in awe of God." (ECCLESIASTES 5:4, 7b) Solomon warns his readers the danger of making foolish (promises) to God & not fulfill it. Vows were voluntary but, once made, were unbreakable (DEUT 23:21-23, MATT 5:33). Are we known as a person of our word (that's integrity)? We live now in a sinful society that breeds distrust & dishonesty. If we tell the truth all the time, we'll have less pressure to back up our words w/ an oath or promise. Today, let's do what pleases God. *Your Brother in Christ,* *liquidmetal28*
