Love bodysurfing, and this movie is a rare one about it. Beautifully filmed, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. Absolutely worth a watch. Here’s the trailer (from YouTube) for “Hell Or High Water” https://youtu.be/JbVvTLHZFWo

Hate to re-post here so quickly & so soon after my first submission, but you NEED to listen to this band, Khruangbin, if you haven’t already. Been listening to this track repeatedly recently: https://youtu.be/3KQjtf0inmc

Koi fish art from the Honolulu Zoo, snapped with a plain ol’ iPhone. There’s a few shady pavilions, and they’re covered with some really cool art. This was the best of the bunch.

Don’t know how I feel about this book. I was, and remain, very interested in what people believe and the routes they took to get to those beliefs, but I just kinda got lost in this book. I dig some of the philosophy of karma, and of being here now. I have a hard time believing in the miracles of a guru, especially when the witness to those miracles is someone with a LONG history of acid use. #Books

Went for a walk with my little one along Kawainui Marsh. The lighting was gorgeous, but the photo doesn’t capture all the gnats! Worth it though, for this snapshot and for some time with my youngest before she’s too old to hang out with dad.

Another photo from the Waikiki Aquarium. That I took. It is not pulled from a website, nor spam, nor anything more than an original interesting photo. The eels have always remained hidden whenever I’ve been there before, and all FIVE of them were visible the other day. It was awesome. I got this great little photo of some of them. Can you spot all three? OWN CONTENT

Close up from the Waikiki Aquarium of the Japanese Dragon Eel. It’s my own photo, and not something copy/pasted. I didn’t ask for anything, other than a place for people who may have never seen one of these to be seen (and in the numerous times I’ve gone to the Waikiki Aquarium the eels have always remained hidden). For some reason this image was rejected by the admin of the Photography channel. Can’t hate, but can be confused as there was no explanation. I’ll just keep doing me, though.

Been a long time, but I’ve been spending it with the kiddos living life. Here’s a quick snapshot of a seahorse from one of our adventures.

It looks, like, dear noisers, you have to, my dear, type messages like this, dear, in order to not get a post rejected, my dear. It’ll also help, dear, to post someone else’s photography so long as your caption, my dear, has “dear” in it.

There was a stretch where I used this every day. I barely have to see it anymore should I keep myself outside enough.

No fancy camera, no fancy lenses, just a basic iPhone shot of Shark’s Cove (actually, it’s more of Three Tables, but whatevers).

No surf, but beautiful beach and no crowds at Castles surf break. Just a beautiful day all around. Can’t even complain about the lack of surf.

First time at an actual, legal campsite here in Hawaii. First time with another family. Can’t get over how much “stuff” was there. Too much, if you ask me (which they did not!) #Camping

Been offline, and outdoors, for a good long while. Worth the break from technology.

Cool home-made marker to remind us what trail we are on, which, thankfully, was the trail we wanted to be on!

Pretty physical final so far. I’ve got no dog in the fight, but The Habs got absolutely thrashed. It’ll be interesting to see how they bounce back in game two #Nhl
