if you play #Splinterlands, please look at the DEC rewards pool balance at least once a day. it will give you a sense of how much DEC you'll get from winning. you can find the rewards pool balance here: https://game-api.splinterlands.com/players/balances?token_type=DEC&players=$REWARD_POOL the number is relatively stable when most people are playing, but it has jumped 3 million in the last 12 hours. if you play now, you'll earn a bigger chunk of the pool, regardless of level or earning cap. it seems like a lot of players take a break after season end, but we should know that when others are resting, disengaged with the crypto space, *that is the time to step up.* i also want to talk about reward expectations for a moment. the biggest thing i care about playing Splinterlands is each battle's Expected Value of DEC reward. Expect Value (EV) is a term from probability, and it is often used in games with some sort of variance, like card games or Splinterlands, to help a player assess the value of any given game, regardless of outcome, to let that player decide if playing is still *worth it*. you can get complicated with EV, but with Splinterlands it's pretty simple: ( your average DEC reward from a win ) multiplied by ( your winrate ) it should be pretty obvious that winning more makes this number bigger, but EV is not an objective judgment. you'll get some number from this and it's up to you to decide if that number is good enough. i don't mind the grind to earn my rewards. i like seeing end of season loot, but that's not my goal. i mine DEC with every game. and right now, mining is good.

This is such a good advice. Majority of people including myself focus on chest rewards even if we all know that it's only a tiny chance for decent rewards Yeah grinding DEC is another story. It's guaranteed as much as your win rate. It's just different for people with different level decks and time they can allow to spend
Hi @KamHus, I think you are the Admin of this Blog. Can you tell me what I did wrong with my post yesterday? Is it just a Moderator that clicked too fast? I do not SPAM and it is frustrating to be told this here, on Noise.cash. I specifically don't post often, so to be told that "SPAM" the Blockchain Gaming channel is just over the top. I am waiting for more information. Thanks.
Hi @TheArchive Yes I'm one of two moderators of blockchain gaming channel. I haven't accepted or rejected (removed) any post in the last 3-4 days. It may have been the other mod - @mercurial I hope you have a copy of your post, otherwise it's not very strict besides the rules of the channel already written above. Just a note, spam doesn't only mean posting too often. It's also when a post doesn't contribute at all. Something like "what blockchain games do you play/recommend? "
Hi KamHus, ok thanks for the reply. Yes, it was @mercurial9. I have a copy of my post. I posted it outside of the chamber/channel after he blocked it. In my post, I just wanted to inform the community, that "New crates are on sale on Rollercoin" because they're not on sale often. This started last Sunday. The crates contain exclusive miners that are not available on the market. They have an NFT market coming up. As such, this was TIMELY information and very specific (Non-SPAM) to blockchain gaming. I mean you virtual mine cryptocurrencies in there while playing games. How can it get more Blockchain Gaming than that? If I subscribe to your channel/chamber but you block people informing the community of this, EXCLUSIVELY because the post contains a referral link, it is a lack of judgement. Because in that case I will not be made aware by checking the channel/chamber. Any long time miner that hasn't checked recently will NOT get the information here (based on mercurial9's habits) So you end up blocking valuable information because another piece of information is deemed SPAM. But you end up removing information that the community can be looking for and which is valuable. It's too short of a thing for me to write another article on the subject. I just wanted to share the news. I'm not on Steemit yet but I would have shared it with friends there. @Mercurial9 now replied and said I just had to "Remove the Ref" from the post. So if someone comes in the channel, reads the post but didn't know about Rollercoin, he's supposed to do what? Head over to that site and signup without a referral link? ==> That user would pass by a signup bonus. It's not the best outcome for the user. I understand that you want to prevent abusive SPAM on the channel and the chambers but its frustrating when it is done by trigger happy moderators (mercurial9), who don't seem to genuinely look at the benefits the post provides. Its frustrating because I am a moderator on Torum and I am always careful not to judge too quickly but to always use judgements when electing to hide or block a post. I mean, I block 10s of posts per day. They are obvious: "Hello good day, BTC to Moon, click my link: "http://whatever?r=spam"" ==> I report this as SPAM all day long. And I take a look at mercurial9's posts and he does include his own referral link to Splinterlands!? How is that different? His posts contribute but mine did not? So he approves his own post about his game but blocks others? Keeping judgement is essential for proper moderation. Otherwise you end up penalising the community and the channel and platform ultimately. Take a look at the article attached with my post. It is my own full article on Read.cash. There is value right there, on top of the timely nature of the information I was providing. I analysed all the miners and keep the spreadsheet up to date. As such it is so frustrating that I chose noise.cash to "quickly share relevant info in a channel that's called Blockchain Gaming" only to be refused because I'm called a Spammer! People on Theta had no beef with me telling them. They know I'm not spamming stuff! They were happy! Team TNT went to check the new crates the moment I told them. People on Torum were happy about the information I provided. Because they know I don't SPAM... Sorry for the long post, I was just frustrated after the rejection. Thanks if you read this and Peace (Happy gaming!) :D
I certainly read it all and it's my pleasure to read something by a professional like yourself. To be honest we haven't discussed concretely about the referral posts. I also reject some posts occasionally. I guess it just falls under the category of general judgement of spam vs non spam. Regarding your post, I understand that it fall more to the approved posts. It must have been just a moment of decision by mercurial. So please don't take it personally and keep posting ^_^
