busy day! and tomorrow i'm back to work from my suspension. they dropped the charges, lol. well, not all of them. they didn't like that i walked off the job, but they couldn't say that i quit becuase i came back, and i've left before in similar circumstances due to my mental health. so they waggled a finger at me and said BAD WORKER but they also said "please come back" under their breath. we both know that i'm valuable to them. so i'll be there a bit longer. but not too long. in other news, i put some money into 3 different EVM-compatible chains in the last few weeks. when you start using MetaMask, it's easy to keep adding networks. Harmony has made the biggest impression on me, but they have had growing pains. it's funny though, Harmony users were complaining of "slow transactions" that were taking...6-10 seconds instead of 2. SmartBCH has me worried. not that i'm too invested. it has a bit of a ghost town vibe, and i don't say that to discredit the hard work of various development teams, but there are no *HOOKS* there to pull people in. especially when its essentially a gated community. i mean, crypto in general has barriers of access, but there are bridges ( CEXes still play a huge role ). BCH is not very popular, and to then access SmartBCH, you KYC with CoinFlex ( sorry USA ) or use sites that while perfectly serviceable are lacking a bit in polish.... you can sell a few tokens at $X and then keep printing tokens, through various arcane DeFi means, and add zeros to your marketcap, but nothing is happening.
