Gusto ko lang i-share yung story ko na pagiging SOBRANG mabait dati ahaha Eversince I was a kid my parents taught me to be nice to people even if the person is mean. It's actually not a hard time on making friends back then because being a child was really fun and full of joy lol so I had so many friends back in elementary school since I was really nice. One of my friends actually thought that I was a born again christian (which I'm not) because she said I was being TOO nice and I actually questioned it like "Is it really a requirement to be really nice on being on a specific religion?". I mean I guess I just had really good control of my emotions back then and negative actions didn't really affect me. Even when one of my classmates actually made fun of me because I was always answering our teachers questions and I was still nice to her and which she was then weirded out by me because she was really mean to me and I wasn't affected lol. Most of them actually praised me on just being a "happy-go-lucky" kind of person and actually some of them didn't really liked it. I then have a tendency of letting them borrow my things like I would always let them borrow it even though I too need the items for the task that we are doing. I actually would then tell them to just hurry up on using it so I can use it as well. One of my friends would then question me like "Do you even say No to people?" And I actually answered "I never say no to people because I pity them on not having the things that I have so I'm trying to make them happy or satisfied on letting them borrow my items". He was actually in disbelief and pitied me because I wasn't selfish on letting myself first and actually taught me on just saying "no" to people. Well, I actually appreciated that he was just concerned about me because if some people will get used to me on just being nice they'll start taking advantage of it. I actually tried my best on putting myself first from that day but it was just really hard to do because I just got used on being TOO nice to people. I didn't really expect on anything for return when I do them a favor but I still appreciate that they do something in return even though I didn't ask for them to do it. It just really felt good that I've helped someone that was in need of something and I was always been there for that person. Until, I actually finally snapped into my senses in grade 6 that some are being too mean and I instantly threw a book at a person that was really mean to me and that person actually cried because he didn't expect that I would fight back since he knew I was really nice. Even a nice person can get angry but it would just be really worse than what you'll expect because I always contain my anger and if I'm really full of it that's where I start to release "the beast" lol I would start throwing things, yell on what the person had done to me, or start really harming the person who had done me wrong. After I released all my anger on that person I then feel relaxed and of course would apologize lol and start being nice to that person again but he actually got scared of me when he saw what I was like when I was angry and kept avoiding me since then lmao I mean I wouldn't really burst into anger if that person just stopped on being mean to be. I guess there's some perks on being a really nice person: #1: They'll be nice to you back #2: Good things will come to you #3: You can surprise them on what's your mad side is like lol #4: People will not believe that you would do horrible things lol I then realized on what my friend had said that I should learn on saying no to people or just be a bit mean so they won't take advantage of me. Well, I guess I really took his advice and somehow they're not taking advantage on me anymore (well, sometimes lol) but still the thrill on just being nice and just burst into anger is really fun to do because they'll be in shock and would not expect that would happen xD
