The Future that lies ahead

The world did not stop revolving but it keeps on changing. Is it for the better? Or is it for the worst? Does our children is really the hope of our nation? Or they are about to face destruction? We are in a Pandemic era right now. Will the past comes back? Will the children be free again? Free to go outside and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and happily playing. Meeting their classmates and friends without wearing any protective gears. Talking while sharing their foods during snack time. But how? How can they come back to school? If the surroundings is not safe for them to go out. It's going two years! That the kids are force to stay at home. They cannot go to school anymore. They cannot eat their favorite foods outside as minors are not allowed. They cannot enjoy shopping with their parents or just even going to the market. They cannot do that anymore! They are just inside the house, feeling bored and keeps on asking their parents. When will they can go back to school? It's very new to them that they are studying inside their house. The New normal is not Normal at all! But what can we do? We need to think the safety of our kids first before anything else. We are facing an enemy that cannot be seen. An enemy that we cannot touch. And is very harmful to our health. Once we are hit by the enemy's paw, there's no way we can escape. Even death is always at our back. Ready to take us anytime. One false move and our life will be at stake and danger. Can you see the future clearly? Or it's very blurred? Is there no way to fight those enemy? Are you going to lock yourself inside your house and will never go out? But the enemy will still knock at your door! And you are there in the dark! Afraid! Very afraid while holding your children! Crying and thinking what should I gonna do? Will I always hide? Think of your children's future! You are hiding, until when? Until the enemy is gone? But it keeps on mutating and spreading into different variants! And you need to keep moving! You need to work if you are working. You need to go outside and buy some foods or else your kids will die in hunger. There's no forever and you can't hide forever too. You need to fight! You need to strengthen your immune system to fight those harmful virus outside. We need to be strong and healthy as we are the one's who can go outside. While our children are waiting, we need to be careful not to spread the virus on them. And now there's hope as what they said. But people are still be very afraid. Afraid of that one injection. Afraid of vaccination. But come to think of it. People are already dying and you might be a carrier! You might spread it with your family. Think a million times the decision is still ours to decide. Look at your children, your family and makes a decision heartily. Our own future lies within our hands.... ***leejhen*** 💞 Finally it reached 3 minutes read lol. But yeah very happy that I make it hehe. It's my daughter's assignment and decided to write it here so that I will know if I reach a 3 minute speech. And it's a success!
