Let's have a short recap at Episode 6.

Remember this scene? In this scene Ko Mun-Yeong (So Ye-ji) told the lady to stop saying the word "mom". The woman is a patient in OK Psychiatric Hospital that claims that she is her daughter but the truth is her daughter died. Ko Mun-Yeong told the lady that her mother is dead She also told her every details of what happened to her mother. After that the woman collapsed.

Episode 7

The episdoe starts with the title 'The Cheerful Dog".

In the first 7 minutes of the episode Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo Hyun) is talking about that his older brother will be too busy because a lot of work and might possibly become ill. The conversation end up in "like a dog". Then his brother explains why. "You whimper like a dog at night when you're ill . I don't do that, but you always whimper like a dog when you sleep".

Once upon a time, there lived a dog that was very good at hiding his emotions. The dog was tied beneath a shade tree. He always wagged his tale and acted cute. So he got the name "The Cheerful Dog", because he was as cheerful as springtime. The dog always had lots of fun with the village kids during the day. But every night, he'd moan and whine when no one was around. That's because he wanted to cut off the leash and freely run around out in the spring field. However, he couldn't. And that's why he cried every night.

One day, a voice inside him asked the Cheerful Dog "Hey, why don't you just cut off the leash and run away?"

And this is the Cheerful Dog said...

"I've been tied up for too long. So I forgot to cut myself free"

The story of the cheerful dog is connected to the situation of Ko Mun-Yeong, Moon Gang-tae and the woman who claims that she is Ko Mun-Yeong's mother.

This episode is anazing because the was brighten up of the situations they're in. Moon Gang-tae claims that her mother didn't love her. He thinks that her mother is taking care for his brother only but her brother explained about the food they've eaten in the market with her mother. After that he cried and said to his older brother that he missed their mom.

In Ko Mun-Yeong's case she cannot cut her hair because of her mother Her mother told her never cut her hair short. Then she realized that her long hair was the leash to set herself free so she cuts it by herself.

For the patient at the OK Psychiatric Hospital. Her hallucinations that her daughter is still alive was gone She got to her senses and accept that ger daughter is dead Even though it really hurts her she told what hapoened

Ko Mun-Yeong likes the shawl and said to the woman that she will take it as a sign of sincere apology for her actions in the last episode At first, the woman can't say anything and then decided to give it to her.

The leash in her life is the shawl and the memories of her daughter Because of Ko Mun-Yeong's actions she accepts the truth and cut herself free.
