Parenting Struggle #1 : Keeps You Awake 'till Morning

Children have different sleeping habits. Newborn babies cry a lot. They sleep and cry when they're hungry. Infants - you'll never know how they feel. They only cry but you won't know until you discover it's wet or feeling sick. They have different sleeping time. Some sleep during day time and some are in the normal sleeping time as the adults. These sleeping habits can be changed depending on the parents preference. If you are the one looking after your child, you decide whether you put him to bed or not. Some children just have different behavior. They play a lot and never gets tired. Some would would get tired easily but mostly children are hyperactive and energetic because they only sleep, play and eat. One big struggle as a parent is when your kid keeps you awake at night. There are times that they only like to cry without any reason. Children most of the time feels sleepy and experience tantrums at this point and this is a huge problem. Some kids just play alone at night while their parents are feeling very sleepy or the worst became dizzy. But being a mom or a dad who cares a lot for you child, you'll never go to sleep to see your kids safe while they play. You'll force yourself to never feel anything in your body just to stay up and watch over the kids. Some are just being annoying. Crying all night, also keeping neighbors awake and this is really embarrassing. But kids are kids. You cannot tell them what to do because they don't know how to control themselves yet. Patience is a virtue. This is what you should keep in mind as parent. It is you who will understand and adjust to the situation. Even if you go to work blank and absent minded due to lack of sleep. Keep in mind that you have to work for the family. This will end as soon as the child changes it's sleeping habits, but you can never force the situation. You have to wait for it to happen. Be a good parent to your child. Understand their feelings even if they don't understand yours.
