Waiting at the Austrian border. There was a lot of traffic at the border in the morning, a lot of trucks on the roads. I also stopped to refuel. There is a gas station on the Austrian border, the Super 95 is cheaper here than in Hungary by about 0.10 cents. In Austria, 1 liter of Super 95 petrol now costs 1.34 Euro = $ 1,563. In Hungary, the price of fuel has been fixed for 3 months, and soon the parliament will decide whether to extend the fuel price freeze. We pay 1.80/l here or more since the new year started. Not funny at all.
@Cryptozeug Here in Hungary, it was 1.66 euros / l, now the fixed price is 1.371 euros. Only here the average salary is very low. :(
1.66 is very much compared to the salary. Fixing that price might be a good idea. Most of it is taxes, so all countries could do that. Same problems with gas and electricity. That will be a funny year...
The truth is that I prefer that price and having the fuel. In Venezuela, the price of Gasoline is officially $0.50 but it is not scarce, you have to stand in long queues to fill the tank and if we are in a hurry we must buy it from the so-called "Bachaqueros" and sometimes pay up to $5.00, the same thing happens with the Dieselctor that It affects that food and mass consumption products are very expensive because transporters have to pay very expensive fuel plus commissions in the sales tax
Good luck dear @juditka80, greetings from my daily work. 🙋♂️
A price freeze in fuel is really helpful. I just hope the oil industry will still be fine while consumers benefit from the price freeze.
Has price had increased many times here too and did no experienced any roll back yet.. Take good care friend
