Good evening! Time is 10:04 pm There was no time to go to the store today. And I wanted for sweets so much. So all I had to do was make my favorite quick cookie. It's quick and easy to make. It is called a mug of cherries here in Hungary. I'll write the recipe. I learned it from my mother. 2 mugs of fine flour I use a 2.5 dl mug. 1 mug granulated sugar 1 egg 1 packet of baking powder 2.5 dl milk 1.3 dl of sunflower oil 35 dkg sour cherries. I used last year’s frozen sour cherries. You need 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil and 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs to lubricate the baking tray. In the flour, I mix the baking powder, add the sugar, eggs, milk and oil. I put a little flour in a bowl and turn the cherries in it. I used to shake it in a resealable plastic box so it’s faster. I oil the baking sheet and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Then I pour the dough into the baking tray and sprinkle with the sour cherries. And I bake it in the preheated oven. I check to see if the middle is raw by inserting a fork or needle into the dough. If there is no dough left on the fork, you are ready. You can use others fruits too, red currant, cherry, apricose, blackberries etc... Does anyone feel like trying to bake it? 😊🤔
