feels like half of this article is now made obsolete by https://www.bitcoinabc.org/2020-08-27-global-network-council/ :/
Nice article. Thank you for the knowdledge!
Well written. From a different perspective, if Amaury is ElonMusk or SteveJobs type leader, a lot of people (miners included) would be happy to pay 8% tax. Unfortunately, Amaury's track record clearly shows that he is NOT!

Indeed - More than a money grab, it basically deincentivize protocol development and aims to make Bitcoin ABC the owner of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. I made an article a few hours ago to detail my thoughts on the subject. Here is the link I would like to share with you : https://read.cash/@Bitskit/heres-why-bitcoin-abcs-8-tax-isnt-just-about-funding-e8285807
Amaury is an amateur compared to Calvin and Craig. Why take 8% per block when you can just take one million coins in one quick reference client upgrade? Seriously?!
Totally agree how can BTC ABC be the only team that can make the update possible. To me , BCHN is far more competent than Bitcoin ABC
