Adopted Assassin Chapter 2

Hikari is waking up. The guy and his wife came. She slowly opened her eyes and noticed people  infront of her. She freak out and suddenly stand up and get the fork on the desk and stand in a defense position. the bodyguards went infront of the guy. "Sir, this girl is dangerous." "Hey hey! Calm down. It's okay. We're not your enemies." The Prime Minister talked "Where... Where am I?" She asked as she was pointing the fork to them. "It's okay.. Everyone put down your weapon." He ordered the guards "But sir!" "It's okay." The bodyguards looked each other and put down their weapons. "Hey, it's okay. I just want to talk to you... You're in the hospital." He said as he was stepping forward little by little "Were you... The one... Send me here?" She asked. "Yeah. You suddenly collapsed and I rushed you here.." "Hmmm... You should have left me die." She said as she put the fork on the tray. And she sat down on the bed. They guy told the body guard to leave the room. And they all left. "It's okay. Just the three of us. We're not bad guys." "Hmm.. why?" She asked. "I can't just leave you like that. Well actually I don't know why I suddenly went out of the car and followed you and rushed you here. I feel like you're calling me." I'm a bad guy you should have left me there..." She said as she cover herself in the blanket. "I wish I could... Say. Why did you save me 2 years ago?" The guy suddenly asked. '2 years ago?' She thought as she was thinking. "Eh?" "Bombing accident." He added "Ah... That day. Actually, I don't know, why I also did that... That day,was supposed my free day... I was in the cafeteria and heard someone talking about their plan. To bomb the train and they're targeting one person. At first I don't know who they're going to kill.... That guy left the table and he dropped something, and I saw the picture of you." "Eh?" "It seems that they want you dead... That day... It's not my mission, the boss didn't order me and I suddenly felt irritated that's why I followed that guy and saw you.." "So that's how you stopped me from going inside the other train?" "Yes." "I see.. That make sense now. I finally know the truth. After it explode you suddenly disappeared. Later after, we saw the suspect was tied in one place. It was you, right? You catched that person." "Well... Yes..." "I see. You're not a bad person after all." He smiled. "Eh?" "After all you were just ordered by someone, right? You didn't do it by yourself. I know there's still kindness in your heart. I can feel it." "What are you saying?" "Hikari." "??" She tilt her head "If you were given a second chance to live, what do you want?" She paused for awhile looking at her palm. And she finally talked "I just want a normal life... Family... But I know, it's not possible... I don't deserve to have a family... Since I'm a assassin.." "Hikari. Everyone deserves a second chance. Right now. I'm going to give you a second chance to live. I'll take you as my daughter." "Huh?" "Honey, are you really sure about this?" Madame was surprised about his decision. "Yeah. I don't know much about her. But I think, I can trust her." He just grinned "Is... Is it really okay to be a part of your family?" "Yeah. I can help you. We can help you." "I'm not sure... I might not give you what you're expecting..." "I don't need expectation. I just want to you to live like a normal person. No killing, no fighting." "Hmmm..." "I have no objection, since my dear has already decided.. I just want 1 condition. Well.. It's not actually a condition or favor... Can you protect our kids, if there will be danger coming?" Madame said. "Hmm." "But no killing." "I understand." "You mean, you've accepted?" "Yes." "That's good. Then welcome to the family. Hehehe." The guy who's going to adopt Hikari is more excited than them. "While, you're recovering, We'll going to teach you and I'll prepare all the papers to let you go to the school." 2 days have passed, she was already recovered. Even though she was told to stay more days. They went home. They went to their palace. "Are you... A prime minister?" "Oh, you noticed. Sorry.If I didn't tell earlier. That's right I'm a prime Minister." "I see..." THey went inside. "Hi kids.." "So this is the new part of the family, huh?" "Yeah. Let me introduce you guys. This is Hika.. Kaori. Her name is Kaori..." She nod at them. The guy, who is the Prime Minister introduced their 5 kids. "Tss." They rolled their eyes and leave one by one. "Ah please don't mind them. They haven't used to it. But sooner you'll get close with them..." "Hmmm. Its okay.  I already used to it." "Ladies, did you already prepare a feast?" "Yes, ma'am." "Good, it seems our new daughter is already hungry." "Yes ma'am." They went to the dining table. They have introduced to everyone about Hikari. She's now Kaori.... They're not talking to her that mades their father worried. After she eat, she start going to the library and start studying before the school year starts 4 months from now on. They found out that Kaori is smart enough. She answered question so quickly. "I can't believe she's that smart." "Yeah, they wasted her talent for years." 4 months have passed, none of the children of the Prime Minister wants to talk to her. They hated her. The school year is about to start "Kaori, are you ready?" She just replied with a nod. Next day, they woke up early and going to the school. They have 6 different drivers that they're going to take them to the school. "Do... You really have take me to the school? I can walk." "I'm sorry, Kaori-san. But it's your father's order to take you there and pick you up." "Hmm..." She went inside the car and start driving. They're now going to the school. Kaori went to the Principal's office and called their homeroom teacher. "You're the 3-A homeroom teacher?" "Ah yes." "Then, take care of her. She's... new here. Adopted daughter of the Prime Minister." "Eh? Ah... Sure." They're now going to the room. "Alright class, settle down." "What you? You've got to be kidding me?" A guy... Oldest son of the Prime Minister stand as he was pointing her. "Oh, right you're siblings." "We're no siblings teach.. She's just a trash." He said as he scoffed They all laugh. "Hey don't be like that. She's still your classmate." "Tss." He sat down and crossed his arm. "Alright! We found a new toy!" Their teacher cleared throat. "Kaori-san, you can seat over there." "What? She's going to sit beside me? No!!" They carried her seat and went at the back. "This will be good. The teachers can't do anything. Their delinquents after all. Kaori is now going at the back. Someone tripped her. "It's your fault for not looking, idiot." They laugh again. Kaori sat on her chair. And stay quiet. She sat besides the window.. The class starts. To be continued...
