Ever since the pandemic lockdown starts, a lot of people lost their jobs. One of this are my 2 siblings. We're almost running out of money and thinking what to do...
Around March, it started the Lockdown till May.
Some people are already like giving up and some are thinking a way to rise up. Little by little, a lot of people are starting opening their little small business to help out for themselves and for their family.
Around May we thought of opening a small business, like foods or goods.
We first thought of opening a small restaurant since our brother is a cook in the cruise, not an assistant but a real cook. But we failed to do it because, someone called him and invited him in a restaurant to be the main chef. And yeah, he accepted it... So the first plan of small restaurant failed.
But we didn't give up we still think of opening a small business..
Our second option was selling sleeping attire, it was trending everywhere... But again another failed due to lack of demand...
And we stop like giving up. We can't think of anything until...
Our aunt called us. She told us she'll help us open a small business like animal goods. 'That's it!' we all said. How come we didn't think of that. Since lockdown can't still go out, why not do it by delivering goods door to door. Since we got our sticker for quarantine pass and delivery pass sticker thanks to our old friend who gave to us free.
So we start planning this animal shop. We start calling and inquiring for reselling. I asked a lot of my friends who are also selling dog and cat goods and things. We start calling them one by one, until we got one.. We got the BIR done as well. And after, we think of designing and putting the name. We thought of putting JMNC but we searched and there's already have the same name. So er just go in JMC PetShop instead... Since I know how to draw, I'm the one design the logo.
This is my first trial. But we can't use it because there's already have JMNC petshop. We might thought we're copying them 😅.
I had a lot of trials and error.
Until I come up with this last logo.. Simple but it has a meaning.
What is JMC?
JMC is a short cut of our names or abbreviation.. Its a combination of our names. Our names was start with JM actually.
Joshua Mariele Campilla, which is me.
Jose Mari Campilla, my brother
Janine Mae Campilla, my sister
Jasmine Maurina Campilla, the youngest.
We thought of JC petshop because all of us even our parents name starts with J.
John Campilla
Jesusa Campilla
And that's what JMC means.
June 20, we prepared everything, we even bought new printer to print stickers and some things to be printed. We bought a lot to be needed like notebooks to write down all the stocks and items we bought and one for those who buy.. We even printed a tarpaulin
June 15 cat and dog foods came as well as the shampoo and soap.
June 17, we repack the soap.
June 18, we're almost ready with the shampoos and soap with the sticker.

June 20, we opened the shop.
At first we were worried that there might none or no one will buy. And we were wrong. Wr got a lot of messages in just the first day of our shop. We delivered it for more than 20 in just one day. Like wow. That was a blast for us and very successful for one day.
Then day by day, costumers keeps on ordering our products and they were all satisfied.
Its kinda tiring but its fun. The shop went smooth. We're starting to love this shop.
September we created our account in shoppee. A shopping application like ebay and amazon. We created there so people from middle and south can order from us and yeah.
Our shop is becoming bigger, we have already bought a commercial room not too far from our place to stand a booth so anyone can also buy there if they can't afford shipping fees. Its going to open soon that shop there. Of course we still have online deliveries and shoppee..
Isn't it great. From a small business now its getting big.
We want to thank our aunt who sponsored and contributed some for our business..
Even if its pandemic, we still look a way to survive and earn money. Its not too late.
