Someone shared this to me today, "Comfort zone is the best feeling, but you are not growing." As a reflection, I can't take this off in my mind, am I comfortable with where I am now? Just a reminder that not all comfort zones are good, we should still keep on learning and accept challenges, because it makes us stronger and better.

Today, I have to go somewhere to fix my laptop. I think I overused it because of overwork, haha! Anyways, I have to ride in the LRT (Light Rail Transit) to go on my destination and thankfully it's not crowded today. I took a photo of it because I think it's rare that it's less or there's no people around.

May 1st! 💚 Labor Day in our country. Kudos to all hardworking people who feels tired but keep on striving! Sharing this photo from yesterday's quick escape from the city! A Happy Sunday! 😁 We have this mini dipping pool in the backyard. Everytime we spend our weekend in the province, we make sure to swim for a while, since it's also a one hot summer season. It's just me and my mom who dipped in the pool, it was just 3ft. so we're just make ourself cool and refresh. Hope you had a great weekend.

Seafood in Marinara Sauce and Truffle Mushroom Pasta. I have a pasta lover friend, everytime we eat outside she prefer to be in Italian restaurant. These are what she ordered and we love it. The seafood in marinara has a very flavourful sauce, we like the sour tomato puree and the taste of herbs, spices on it. The truffle mushroom has a distinct taste, a garlic flavor with deep musky aroma, such a special pasta sauce to try once in a while. #food #foodtrip #pastafood

Makopa and Saba Banana 💚 Happy to receive this from our generous neighbors. They harvest some from their backyards and share theit blessings to us. The makopa looks pretty good, but I don't eat one, we also have a tree and bears a green one but only few wants to eat this. The banana, we all love this will wait until it became yellow and ripe, we can boil it, fry it and cook it with fish or pork, so many recipes to do. Let's eat healthy food!

Anime Finds: " Kimetsu No Yaiba" - Demon Slayer It's the end of this season for Entertainment District Arc, originally Red Light District Arc. The animation is superb! I love how the detailed graphics and those action packed were animated from manga, so entertaining and eye catching. If you tried watching 1 season, I'm sure you'll never regret it and you will surely ask for more. Credit: Netflix #anime

Overnight Oats Everytime we have sweet mangoes, I make sure to make one of this overnight oatmeal. Guaranteed healthy and yummy good for our tummy! Here's how I made it, just prepare mangoes (or any of your preferred fruits), whole rolled oatmeal, chia seeds, honey, almond mik (any milk will do), then mix everything and that's it. Prepare at night so you can enjoy a good breakfast! Have a great day everyone. #food #healthyfood

Everything But Cheese! 🧀 I love anything cheesy, I have tried this new fast food near us. All meals have cheese on it, ordered some fries and bread. Sadly, the bread has a small amount of cream cheese but the chicken buffalo has a generous size, but I'm expecting a more cheesy one. Anyways, the fries taste's good especially the cheese sauce, I immediately finish this platter in one seating. I will definitely try more of it next time. #food #foodtrip #foodlover #cheesy

This is known as Xinshe Castle, a simple and close to nature type of attraction. The place is surrounded by trees and a small lake, the feeling of serenity and breathtaking view makes the area perfect to unwind for a while. Floral Cupcakes. I love these colorful cupcakes, you'll gonna think twice if you're going to eat it or not. So pretty in my eyes because of the vibrant color and designs. The taste is also good, it's a chocolate moist with not so sweet filling. This is our dessert yesterday, ordered by my cousin to her friend who's kids are baking. Kids are so talented today, admired them for this unique skills. The yellow cupcake is to fit it with the motif of yesterday's celebration.

A bouquet of money, people are so creative nowadays in giving gifts. My tita/auntie celebrated her 60th birthday, this one is a gift from her children. Well now, we have to be practical in giving, something valueable and I think most people in late ages preferred this kind of gift -cash. Heheh! Dried Fish. One of the dishes I'm looking forward every breakfast is having some fried dried fish, partnered with vinegar sauce or tomatoes with salted egg, oh! I'm getting hungry. Here's the fried anchovy on the left, we call it "dulong" and on the righy not sure the name of this fish, but it's thin and crispy, all are good with fried rice too. Netflix Hits: All of us are Dead. 🧟 Have you watched this nerve wracking, heart pounding/breaking and action-packed series?! Yes, I felt all of these while watching, I'm not a fan of suspense and thriller, but if it has a good story I would definietely try watching it - just closing my eyes if I can't bear the scenes, lol! Korean Corn Dogs 🌭 When craving for crunchy, salty and cheesy food, here's a box of happiness for me, it's korean inspired food. I have here, corn dog with choice of cheese and something with nori sheets, twister fries and chicken with 5 kinds of dips. Choco on his favorite spot when we travel. Hahah! Looks like there's a stuff toy in front, like saying "what are you looking at?! don't bother me." Pastries! 💛 We have here eggpie, carrot cake and korean cheese garlic bread. I'm not that into pastries, except those that are creamy and cheesy. Here's the three guards in a flower farm, lol! Who would have not smile when you see their faces, welcoming the tourist and like greeting happily. They are statues made of leaves around, looks so cool and environment friendly. In our everyday life now, we seldom see ones face and smile, of course most of us are wearing mask.
