A Lost Soul

As soon as she opens her eyes, confusion is written all over her face. The place she's at is not familiar with her. Lot's of questions comes rushing in her mind, "Where am I?", "What is this place?", "Am I supposed to be here?". She tried to remember where she is but she can't recognize it. Still confused, she tried to get up. She looked around, touching everything that she can, trying to figure out where she is. The room was all white, with just the bed, a chair, a table, and a vase. She tried to looked outside the window but all she can see is darkness. Fear slowly creeps into her whole being. She then feels afraid. Afraid of the uncertain that is waiting outside her door. She didn't know what to do. She feel so trapped inside that four-walled space. She tried to scream but no voice came out. She was surprised. "What happened to my voice?", said the voice in her head. She is shaking, and as her body quivers, she bumped into the table and knocked over the vase. The vase broke. She began picking up the broken pieces, but she got hurt. She got hurt but she did not stop picking the broken pieces. She endured the pain while blood was dripping from her wounds. As soon as she finished, she bean looking for a container where she could place the broken pieces. She tried looking into the drawers on the table but to no avail. She only have one option. To get out of that room. She mustered all the courage that she had. She must get out for she still has a wound to treat. She took heavy steps as she approached the door. With a big sigh, she turned the knob. And as she opened the door, lights blinded her eyes. It was too bright that she can't seem to open her eyes, but as soon as she adjusted to the lights, she looked around her. All she could see is a vast space. She tried to look back and the door was still there. She looked around her and it's still the same, a vast, empty space. She tried to take a step, and then another, and then another. Soon enough, she was already running. She had forgotten her wound. She keeps on running but she doesn't know where she's going. She keeps on running hoping that she'll find something. She runs and runs and runs without her knowing that she's moving farther from the room she's been. She was running and soon enough, her feet became tired. She was panting heavily. It feels like she was running forever but why can't she get to somewhere. Why is it endless? Is there no one around to help her? She starts to feel the pain once again. And as she looked back, she can no longer find the door. It is no longer there.
