Its official, the NBA has named the 2019-2020 All Rookie Teams. For brief fact check, the All-Rookie teams comprised of ten (10) players voted on by a global panel. See below for the list.
First Team includes:
Ja Morant (2019-2020 Rookie of the year, Memphis Grizzlies)
Zion Williamson (Forward, New Orleans Pelicans)
Kendrick Nunn (Guard, Miami Heat)
Eric Paschall (Forward, Golden State Warriors)
Brandon Clarke (Forward, Memphis Grizzlies)
The Second Team belongs to:
Riu Hashimura (Forward, Washington Wizards)
Coby White (Guard, Chicago Bulls)
Tyler Herro (Guard, Miami Heat)
Terence Davis II (Guard, Toronto Raptos)
PJ washington, Jr. (Forward, Charlotte Hornets)
Voting System
Members of global media panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters will select five (5) players for the NBA All-Rookie First Team and five (5) players for the NBA All-Rookie Second Team based on games played through March 11, 2020.
Players received two (2) points for each First Team vote and one (1) point for each Second Team vote. See detailed equation.
Formula: (First Team Vote*2) + (Second Team Vote*1)
Total votes are tallied and ranked, as in general rules, the first top five (5) who amassed highest scores will be the First Team.
