2019-2020 All NBA Team Named!

Its official, the NBA has named the 2019-2020 All NBA Teams. For brief fact check, the All NBA Team comprised of fifteen (15) players voted on by a global panel. See below for the list.

First Team includes:

• James Harden (Guard, Houston Rockets)

• Anthony Davis (Forward, LA Lakers)

• Luka Dončić (Guard, Dallas Mavericks)

• LeBron James (Forward, LA Lakers)

• Giannis Antetokounmpo (Forward, Milwaukee Bucks)

The Second Team belongs to:

• Kahwi Leonard (Forward, LA Clippers)

• Nikola Jokić (Center, Denver Nuggets)

• Damian Liliard (Guard, Portland Trail Blazers)

• Chris Paul (Guard, Oklahoma City Thunders)

• Pascal Siakam (Forward, Toronto Raptors)

Third Team leads by:

• Jayson Tatum (Forward, Boston Celtics)

• Jimmy Butler (Forward, Miami Heat)

• Rudy Gobert (Center, Utah Jazz)

• Ben Simmons (Guard, Philadelphia 76ers)

• Russell Westbrook (Guard, Houston Rockets)

Voting System

Members of global media panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters will select five (5) players each for the All NBA Teams. Note: selection were based on regular season games played through March 11, 2020.

Panels were required to choose only 2 Forwards, 2 Guards, and a Center per each Team. The Rule on highest votes garnered by a player in multiple position is slotted.

Players received five (5) points for each First Team vote, three (3) points for each Second Team vote, and one (1) point for each Third Team vote. See detailed equation.

Formula: (First Team Vote*5) + (Second Team Vote*3) + (Third Team Vote*1)

Total votes are tallied and ranked, as in general rule, the first top five (5) who amassed highest scores will be the First Team and so forth.
