According to a World Bank report, those earning less than 1. 1.25 a day will be at the lowest level of poverty. Currently, about 21% of the world's 7 billion people live in poverty because they earn less than a dollar a day. It is estimated that about 24% of Pakistan's population lives below the poverty line. Poverty leads to public frustration and slows economic growth.

Causes of Poverty in Pakistan : * - Pakistan's population is growing rapidly. In contrast, productive resources are growing less. *- Inflation is higher. *- And due to the energy crisis, employment opportunities are scarce. * - And illiteracy and lack of technical education, our country is also suffering from poverty. * - Pakistan's economic growth is slow and trade activities are limited. * - Domestic and foreign investment opportunities are limited due to domestic conditions. Measures to reduce poverty: * - Create new jobs in various departments in the country. * - Start loan schemes for young people so that they can start their own business. * - Assist deserving students in educational institutions. * - Necessary basic facilities should be provided to the people. * - Bait-ul-Mal and Zakat fund should be provided to deserving people. =======<=========>=========
