It's been too long since I've been here. Life takes over and my time on social media has been limited. Not necessarily a bad thing though. How's everyone? Hope this day finds you well!

I don't know about you, but I found 2022 to be very negative. Too much bad shit was happening in the world and it got me down. So to encourage myself to be more positive, I'm listening to a different song on the theme of love. I think if I can make that change, and show everyone some love. Even those who may not seem to deserve it, in myself I'll be a lot happier. Today's song, and what better way to start than the classic, All You Need is Love by the Beatles. Thanks for reading and maybe by spreading the #love, we can make 2023 a little less shitty.
Financial education in the UK, and probably wherever you are too, is a joke. Throughout school we were not taught how to manage our money. It's only as you grow older you learn through experience and by that time, the likelihood is you will have some sort of debt. So my #showerthought this evening was this: Maybe it's by design, the mainstream education purposefully excludes money management from curriculum, because the government wants people who spend themselves into debt... Whether this is true or an iron in the conspiracy theorist file I can't be sure. But what I will do is make sure my children have a sound financial understanding. And that includes defi. As you can see I'm starting them off young... #bitcoin #defi #finance #education
Good evening, or morning wherever this finds you! A little late to the party so to speak, but I hope all fellow noise makers has a good holiday/Christmas and looking forward to seeing he new year. Let's hope 2023 is better on all fronts. I'll be doing what I can to spread love and make that happen! π This is how the boy and I will be sliding into 2023.
Good morning friends! Happy to be here on the new Noise.app. I promise to get myself back into gear and start posting again :)
hello fellow noise makers! I introduced the boy to #geocaching over the weekend. He loved it, the treasure hunt dynamics piqued his interests. And we had some good finds too. The hardest part was convincing him to put back the 'treasure' for someone else to find! #outdoors #exploring #adventure
Here is the boy enjoying pasta like it should be done!
How good are these #Halloween #cookies our friend baked? Things are starting to get a little spooky around here!
I'm fortunate that I can work from home, a happy change brought by the pandemic. But today I decided to go into the office ... Coming in this morning I had to get up 2 hours earlier to walk 45 mins to get a train. I got soaked in the pouring rain π§οΈ. I'm not sure how we managed to do this every day before the pandemic... At least there is coffee
What a great tournament the Rugby League world cup is shaping up to be. After watching all the round one games so far, you've got to admit #England have their best chance to win on home soil. #rlwc2021 #rugbyleague #rugby #sport #worldcup
Just bought ICP at bargain basement levels. Currently trading at Β£4 ($4.88 or Thereabouts). The price action has been down since it's launch. But the innovations just keep coming. Definitely worth another look. #ICP #cryptocurrency #crypto
It's been a while since I posted a #Flipfam update, and although I have claimed a number of #NFTs since then. I just had to share my favourite so far, the legend that is Roberto Baggio. Growing up he was easily one of my favourite players. https://flpfm.com?invite=lBlIU_hmMX
Good morning/ evening fellow noise makers wherever you are from! I hope this finds you well. I was out for a lovely walk this morning and stopped to admire the sun beaming through the trees. It's in little moments like this that I truly appreciate the beauty of our planet and what we have to fight to keep. Love to you all. dM
I love this time of year when the leaves are turning. Time to get out the warm clothes and get cozy. Love to all noisemakers out there! #autumn #fall #fallcolours #trees
Beach day! I must admit I've never in the past been that interested in sitting around on a beach all day. But since my son has a love for sand and diggers , a beach day is a lot more fun.
Just got back from an epic trip to Sicily. Glorious sunshine, fresh Italian food and God given wine. I love Italy and no matter which part I visit, I am always left wanting more...
Today we headed east on the train from Palermo to Cefalu. A lovely little seaside town on the north coast of Sicily.
Buongiorno noise makers. Is there a better way to wake up in Palermo, than a marching band? Probably, but it was great fun π
Happy Tuesday, today I have a day off work and have loved rediscovering walking routes. It's beautiful where I live and I don't think I have appreciated that for sometime. This has shown me it is important to be mindful of the moment and allow myself to experience rather than worrying about tomorrow... Have a great day everyone
Good morning noisemakers! I hope this Monday finds you well. Contrary to some, I always look forward to Monday, it is a day of hope and opportunity. The week ahead is a blank slate, and how it will unfold is an exciting mystery. Talking of mystery, I had the brilliant opportunity to drive the original batmobile, and yes this was on a Monday. Have a great week everyone!
Just wanted to share my best sorare result so far, I finished in the dizzying heights of the top 100 for the first time ever! Let's hope it's not a one off!
A friend recently introduced me to a sports tipping game called FlipFam. I wasn't sure at first, but a couple of weeks in, I am quite enjoying it. Essentially you win points for correctly agreeing or disagreeing with a statement. For example, I could say: 'Man City will score 3+ goals against West Ham' Then you, and other players, could either agree or disagree that event will happen. You get points for guessing correctly and can build up to win NFTs. Right now you can get a free NFT by using my referral code to register. I'll get one too π https://flpfm.com?invite=lBlIU_hmMX
As the sun sets on another beautiful Sunday, I can sit back and reflect on a lovely weekend with family and friends. Honestly these are the moments I live for. Looking forward to see what opportunities Monday brings.
Good morning beautiful noisemakers! I hope you all have a cracking day! The plan over here is to take the grandparents on a canal boat through England's highest deepest canal tunnel!
The newest squad members for Libero FC have been announced: - Hidekazu Otani (Kashiwa Reyso), club record transfer fee 0.0032 ETH - Lee Ashcroft (Dundee FC), transfer fee 0.0019 ETH - Danilo Gomes (CuiabΓ‘ EC), transfer fee 0.001 ETH - Jang Jun-Young (Suwon FC), transfer fee 0.0025 ETH - Yuki Kagawa (Oita Trinita), transfer fee 0.0025 ETH All players were immediately put back on the transfer market. When pushed for comment, the manager just responded, "that's the cruel world of football business" and you can also take part: sorare.com/r/jamkir #sorare
Good morning :) Definitely a cooler day here in the UK, thankfully. Hope you all have a great day.
Anyone know what's up with my wallet? I tried importing my read.cash wallet (because I don't want too many wallets to keep track of ...) And it seems to be stuck on the following 'working' animation
Good morning gorgeous people! I hope everyone is doing well. We are having another day of 'extreme heat' here in the UK. My son was worried about his teddies, so thought of a good way to keep them cool... Put them in the freezer! He's a smart boy that one :)
Good morning fellow Noise makers! Hope everyone is staying safe and well. We in the UK are braced for one of the hottest days ever on record with 40c expected in some places. This is not normal for the UK... climate change is real and it's happening now. Stay safe and well hydrated. When you have finished with that bottle, make sure it goes in the recycling!
It's almost certain, we are planning our first holiday overseas in 3.5 years. This time, another visit to Italy, in this case Sicily. Any Sicilians or fellow travellers on here able to offer advice on where we must visit? (we have 2 children under 4)
