Stay and let's chase our monsters together.

I know there are times that you lose hope, When the walls seem to close in around you And all you can see is the pervading darkness. Those are the times when I’ll be there for you. There to hold your hand and just be in the moment, Breathing deeply as we are tangled in embrace. Nothing but us and the sounds of our breathing To slowly fill our souls again with hope. You’ve been lost so many times before, When you felt utterly alone, No one to turn to and nowhere to go, That’s when you felt helpless and without hope. I’m here now and I’ll never leave. Maybe I can’t make the darkness dissipate Nor the sun to shine brightly again, But I can promise you won’t face it alone. So, in those times when despair takes over, Look to my light and together, we can find a way, Back to the light, back to hope, and back to our love That will always guide us home to a better day. So, I may not be able to solve your problems, But as you linger in the dark, know this: I will always sit there with you, Holding on, believing and enduring. And together, we will always find the stars Always in our eyes, Hope ever in our souls.. And love in our hearts forevermore.
