Smart BCH is expected to be operational again in next few hours as the issue was found and just fixed, appears to have been caused by a smart contract triggering the bug when minting new coins. We are trying to persuade Kui to sneak in a patch for the fees along the bugfix changes to soothe some of the pain. #BitcoinCash

Someone got seriously screwed on this swap due to a DEX Aggregator (in this case 1 inch) choosing a really bad routing path, more precisely a SushiSwap pool with lack of liquidity. This happened already about 4 months ago and the person has been since compensated by 1inch but it goes to show you got to be really careful with swaps through aggregators (which for instance Metamask Swap happens to rely on). #CryptoTrading

Started mining a Smart BCH token MAZE through proof of work based on CPU (the classic Bitcoin mining algorithm), I've came across this token as it's smart contract has brought down entire Smart BCH network yesterday for about 9 hours and got somewhat fascinated about it since. Just received an airdrop worth a couple thousand dollars. Turns out I can't afford to withdraw it. After withdrawal I would need to also perform approve and swap calls and at this moment I would need to sacrifice more than half of the airdrop on the fees, but do it at wrong moment when people are aping into NFTs and I will end up with nothing. Metamask has just rejected a request by @zquestz (Josh Ellithorpe) for adding an icon of BCH logo for the Smart BCH network. Anyone using Ethereum to interact with smart contracts is extremely likely to face a costly transaction failure due to its inefficiencies. Just had three costly transactions failures happen to me and I am totally drained. If you are performing large swaps on Ethereum you might want to start to care about the vast amount of bots in the dark forest (AKA the public mempool) which are seeking frontrunning opportunities and extracting the most of the swap you are performing. One technology which I've used recently was https://mistx.io/ which leverages Flashbots to bypass the public mempool in its swap feature and pass the transaction directly to miners for a relatively small protection cost.…
