Watermelon juice 🍉 and my quest for sugarless beverages The other day I was having a busy day and somedays I get so busy that I can not have my lunch on time. So, I had a glass of Watermelon juice. Now the problem everywhere is that they add a huge amount of sugar to like everything. It is so tough for a diabetic person to find sugarless foods and beverages. I have often told those in food and beverage business to start serving foods and juices specially made for people with diabeties. There are a few brands who are thinking of this and milking this idea. I remember an international brand of biscuits marketed as healthy and with less amount of sugar doesn't has less sugar than the normal variety. Another local cookies brand here in South India calls itself a diabetic friendly brand but still had a lot of sugar and other stuff in it. We are consuming a lot of sugar. In fact we eat more sugar than any of our ancestors ever ate. I was somewhat health conscious before I became diabetic but now when I'm trying to avoid sugar it seems impossible to run away from the sugary villian.

prepare your own drinks so you can control the sugar content .. better if you could use honey as you sweetener :)
Honey also increases blood sugar but it is still better than cane sugar.
i think if you got a pure honey, it wont increase blood sugar and yes it is better from cane sugar :)
I have had pure honey directly from the Hive a few times but I didn't check my blood sugar as I had no equipment to check it as I was in a farm. And it is very rare to get pure honey. Almost all brands are adulterated.
true, most honey are commercialized not unless you got it from the bee farm and saw it yourself
It's also benefits for health and I hope you enjoy too can you have read cash
Sugar is a major cause of most diseases, perhaps more than smoking
