Double Lily - a memory We were on our way to visit my sister a few years ago. We had to walk a little distance as no transport would take us there and as we were walking we spotted a house where these lilies were blooming. We could see they were poor going by their house and surroundings. But flowers are not snobs. They bloom anywhere they are loved. I requested my husband to go up there - the house was on a hillock - and request them for a plant The thought it a privilege and readily pulled out a plant and gave it to us We have it in our garden now but this year because of unseasonal rains it did not bloom.

Isn't it amazing how some flowering plants sometimes grow abundantly even without human care? Just keep watering them and make sure they get enough sunlight.

I do not know how it has been at your place when it came to the pattern of rain Here it has been extremely odd. Normally the rains recede by September and certain flowers just bloom. Rains here have continued till December. You must be knowing different flowers need a different environment.
