The joys of a gardener Unless the seeds are potent no matter how rich the soil they will not germinate. These are zinnia seeds sown a long time ago Yes I got results and a few beautiful zinnias bloomed. At this moment we have sown seeds of many flowers but one of the mirabilis has failed to germinate. That is the problem with seeds bought online. In the good old days we could just roam around garden and quietly pluck dead flowers that had potent seeds but I hardly see any such gardens around here these days.
