The evasive parrots With their camouflage with the greenery around capturing parrots in a camera is a difficult task. They are frequent visitors and unlike other birds that come to frolic in the bird bath they are never seen there. Their favourite food is the star fruit and bilimbis. They will peck at them and drop them in shreds. I managed to click this photo at dusk when they were playing hide and seek on a dead areca nut tree.
