Mary Palmer This bougainvillea has a name - Mary Palmer. It has two colours on one bract and the leaves are also variegated. I tried to find out why this flower was named aftere May Palmer who could neither speak nor write. This is one among 8 others in our garden that have yet to bloom - thanks to the odd weather conditions at the moment. Would you know why it is called Mary Palmer?
