1969 Malaysia BNM 10 Anniversary $1 Commemorative coin

On January 24, 1969, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) issued a commemorative coin in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of Bank Negara Malaysia. On the front of the coin, the image of the late Tuanku Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, the Fourth King who ruled from 21 September 1965 to 20 September 1970. On the day of launch, the copper nickel coin was sold by Bank Negara at its face value only. On the front of this coin display the late Tuanku Ismail Nasiruddin Shah's face surrounded by "DYMM SBP TUANKU ISMAIL NASIRUDDIN SHAH". On the back of the coin was written "BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA 1959-1969" with hibiscus, crescent moon and stars surrounded the donation value $ 1. 1 ringgit of the 10th Anniversary of the Bank Negara Coin
