The food Store Maple walnut tart

After my lunch, I feel like having some dessert. So I visit this cafe called " The Food Store" which is located behind the lobby of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur inside the Intermark Mall.

After looking at the chiller, I order their Maple Walnut Tart which only cost RM8. For those who don't know what a tart is, it is a baked dish consisting of a filling over a pastry base with an open-top not covered with pastry. The pastry is usually shortcrust pastry; the filling may be sweet or savoury.

Overall, the Maple Walnut Tart is well presented. The filling is thick with Walnut, a great dish for Walnut lovers.
