Ichiriki Chashu Don

For today's dinner, I buy it from this ichiriki, a Japanese Restaurant. This Branch is located at the Garden Mall. When I am on my way to leave the Mall, I notice they are selling bento in front of their restaurant so I go and take a look at it.

After looking around for some time, I decided to buy the Chashu Don. For those who don't what chashu is, it is a Braised Pork Belly that is prepared by rolling the meat into a log and then braising it at a low temperature. The Japanese adaptation is typically seasoned with soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar or other sweeteners, without the red food colouring, or five-spice powder.

It cost RM12.50 per bowl after including the service tax.

Here are pictures of my Chashu Don.
