Today I have my lunch at Restoran Sate Kajang Haji Samuri, it has a spacious, well-ventilated setting with traditional Malay architecture—wooden beams, rustic roof tiles, and open-air dining. The layout is practical and clean, with rows of square tables and black metal chairs, making it suitable for both individual diners and large groups. Kajang became famous for satay in the 1960s, known for its larger skewers and rich, flavorful peanut sauce. Haji Samuri, a pioneer in the satay scene, expanded this local favorite into a nationwide brand, making his name synonymous with authentic Kajang satay.

after looking at the menu, I decided to order Nasi Goreng Kampung Special Set which cost RM12.90. This satisfying set includes: Nasi goreng kampung (village-style fried rice) with crispy anchovies, egg, and vegetables, three skewers of juicy grilled chicken satay, served with thick peanut sauce and spicy sambal. A slice of cucumber on the side. A cool glass of iced lemon tea.
