what if somebody hack the CBDC ?

It will be interesting when some evil genius decided to take the national digital currency (CBDC) system hostage and demand the government to fulfill their demands. A centralized system is easier to be taken over. Knowing how government does things, I won't be surprised if this scenario happens. Even if there is a backup system, losing 1 day of transaction history can be damaging. What happens if somebody purposely withdraws all their account before the attack? When the backup kick in, their account will be full again because the record of them withdrawing is gone.
