Ren La Mian with Shredded Chicken and Scallion in Soy Sauce
Today dinner I visit the Ren restaurant at KLCC Suriall Mall, a restaurant that specializes in Shanghainese and Xinjiang Cuisine.
After looking at their menu, I decided to try the La Mian with Shredded Chicken and Scallion in Soy Sauce. After including the service tax, the total cost for this bowl of noodles is RM21.90. For those who don't know what La mian is, it is a type of soft wheat flour Chinese noodle. Lamian is made by twisting, stretching, and folding the dough into strands, using the weight of the dough. The length and thickness of the strands depending on the number of times the dough is folded. When they serve my meal, the staff would bring along a scissor to ask if I want them to cut it to make it easier to be eaten.
