MyLaksa Asam Laksa Kaw Kaw Special

For today's dinner, I decided to go to Wangsa Walk Mall to see what to buy. After walking around for some time, I decided to buy my dinner from MyLaksa.

After looking at the menu, I decided to buy Asam Laksa Kaw Kaw Special which priced at RM10.50. The only difference with the normal Asam Laksa is it come with extra 1 egg and 1 fish ball. For those who don't know what Asam Laksa is, it is a tangy, spicy, sour noodle dish. Asam is the Malay for any ingredient that makes a dish taste sour or tamarind slice. The main ingredients for Asam Laksa include shredded fish, normally mackerel, and finely sliced vegetables including cucumber, onions, red chilies, pineapple, mint leaves, laksa leaves, and torch ginger. Asam Laksa is normally served with either thick rice noodles or thin rice noodles and topped off with otak udang or hae ko, a thick sweet shrimp paste. Here are pictures of my Asam Laksa.
