Spicy Takoyaki
For today's dinner, due to the rain, I visit this stall call Takoyaki leleh which is located just in front of the condominium I stay at. This stall sells Takoyaki, which is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion. The balls are brushed with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise and then sprinkled with green laver and shavings of dried bonito.
I order the Family Pack size priced at RM10 come with 12 Takoyaki and I ask for the spicy sauce version. I forget to inform them which type of takoyaki I want so they give me a mixed type which are an octopus, crab stick, and sausage. Here are pictures of my Spicy Takoyaki.
