Putien sweet and sour pork with lychees

For today's lunch, I am back at Putien to try out another dish. Putien is a restaurant that specializes in Fujian cuisine, this branch is located at the Pavillion KL Mall. It also won the 2016 Michelin One-Star Restaurant award.

This time I order their Putien sweet and sour pork with lychees, it cost RM29.60 after including the 6% Service tax. I order along with a bowl of rice to eat with it. This dish is made out of deep-fried pork pieces which stir-fried in a sweet and sour sauce that is normally made out of sugar, vinegar, ketchup and soy sauce. Putien has a bit of twist to the dish by adding lychees to boost the sourness and sweetness of the dish.
