Malaysia 1963~1965 BNM $50 Unissued Essay Uniface

This is an Unissued Essay banknote, it is a potential design of a new banknote. It is a sample before a prototype banknote is made. This is the first stage for the creation of the new banknote At this stage, the printer are normally just checking with the central bank on the overall design of the banknote before doing a prototype banknote which will again be check again. This above picture is a printers archival composite essay on a thin card for the reverse of a proposed issue of $50, ND (ca 1967), blue, arms at centre, value at each corner, ornate engine turnings in the field. The item were all returned to the owner because the auction house had a reputation to take care, they can't just surrender it to the Bank Negara Malaysia as they requirer to keep the owner anonymous. There was no rule stating that it is illegal to sell for it but based on Bank Negara Malaysia(BNM) action, it is now considered illegal to try to sell any of it openly in Malaysia.
