SRK Borneo noodle house Sarawak Taste Char Siew Sauce Kolo Mee
Today dinner, I revisit SRK Borneo noodle house to try out another dish. This restaurant specializes in Sarawak dishes, highly recommend you visit it if you ever pass by Desa Setapak.
This time I order their Sarawak Taste Char Siew Sauce Kolo Mee which is sold at RM12.90 per bowl. It comes with a small bowl of soup that contains 2 meatballs. This kolo mee dish is often known as mee merah in Malay mean red mee, it is a Sarawak Signature dish. The dry noodles are tossed in a savoury pork and shallot mixture, topped off with fragrant fried onions. The red colour comes from the red sweet char siew sauces.
